Westbay Surfboards would like to welcome Long John Mccurry, the 3 times Irish Longboard champion back to the team.
John will be part of the research and development wing of Westbay Surfboards, helping
to further the development of both the Viper and the All-
After winning the Irish longboard titles Westbay and John parted for a short period, but it is with great excitement that we welcome him back on board again to help further the important work of producing first class value for money surfboards.
John will work with us to continue the development of the John Mccurry Viper model, working with our own spec EPS foam, carbon fibre and heat finished vacuum applied multi composite epoxy glass.
His work will be in addition to the development of our EPS Carbon Rail surfboards produced and already in the water.
Currently Stevie Burns the 2009 Irish masters shortboard champion (achieved using a Westbay) is helping to developing our next generation of carbon rail shortboards to provide cutting edge technology at an affordable price.
