Standard Board Shapes

The Egg has been re-introduced back into the standard shape line up, I have no idea why it was ever removed.

Its a fast easy paddling board, particularly aimed at weak or small messy surf, but also suits slow fat waves.

The board has plenty of buoyancy, a relaxed rocker with a pulled-in shoulder to give quick but stable paddling, just what you need when you have to make a snap decision as whether to go or not as a mushy peak suddenly offers itself up.

It has a slightly fuller nose and a much fuller tail compared to the hybrid, and the width of the mid section is carried both further forward and backwards, a wide round tail keeps it all nice and stable in the back end and gives the board glide with easy turns and release from the mush.

Underneath you have a nose concave going into a flat section giving you lift in the front end and speed over the flat sections, this feeds into a double concave vee through the fins allowing the board to lift and release when you need it to.

Like all our boards its made in Portrush, and has the usual clear quality that you expect from a Westbay with its high density foam core, fin box area patches, pre-glass installed bonded to glass fin boxes, pre-glass installed leash plug, oven curing, all at an incredible price
